On-Site Flat Rate Cargo Damage Inspections

1. Loose Cargo: Easily accessible, not bundled or baled   $ 70.00 per line item                                              ( $ 125.00 minimum per inspection)

2. Container Cargo:  20Ft.    $ 90.00   

                              40Ft.   $ 150.00

                        ( $ 150.00 Minimum per inspection)

Additional time, (over 8 hours): same site/day inspections:  $ 75.00 hr 

3. Cars & Trucks:  $ 10.00 per car

    Heavy Equipment:  $ 7.00 per unit

                         ( $ 125.00 Minimum per inspection)

4. High Tech & Electronic Equipment:  $ 1.00 per unit

                           ( $ 50.00 Minimum per inspection)

First 25 miles (per mapquest printout)  Included in Flat Rate Fee

25 miles and up   .50 per mile     Tolls at cost

Travel Time

$ 35.00 per travel hour (per mapquest printout)

Waiting Time

Hourly Inspections

Inspection times are calculated based on the number of line items, degree of difficulty and type: steel, equipment, refrigerated produce and commodity: packaged sugar, coffee, etc.

 General Inspection Guidlines

Loose Cargo = 3 hours(depending on number of line items)

20 Ft. Container = 4 hours

40 Ft. Container = 6 hours

Cars & Trucks = 30 minutes each

High Tech & Electronic Equipment = 10 minutes per unit

Above times include preparation and delivery of : Hand written field notes
